The Catawba Nation Gaming Commission is the independent regulatory authority responsible for overseeing all gaming conducted under the Tribe. The Commission is established pursuant to Tribal law and in accordance with the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) to ensures that gaming activities are conducted with integrity, fairness, and full regulatory compliance.

The Commission is responsible for protecting the Tribe’s assets, upholding public trust, and maintaining a safe and transparent gaming environment for patrons, employees, and vendors. The Commission conducts licensing and background investigations, enforces Tribal gaming regulations, and ensures adherence to tribal-state compact, internal control standards, and all applicable regulations.

Operating independently from the gaming enterprise, the Commission is committed to consistent regulation, strong internal controls, and proactive asset protection. We are dedicated to safeguarding the integrity of the gaming operation and ensuring that gaming revenues continues to support the long-term economic stability and well-being of the Tribal community.
